We are committed to the success of the alpaca industry and realize our farms success is founded in yours and the service we provide to you our clients. Our desire is to give you the foundation necessary to achieve success and enjoy your alpacas.. “FARM DAY 101” This is an opportunity for new and aspiring alpaca owners to spend a day learning about and helping with routine chores. Learn to handle alpacas, properly fit halters, toenail trimming, nutrition, body scoring, de-worming, routine vaccinations, breeding and behavior testing. Please call ahead to make arrangements for this special hands on day at the farm. FARM STAY
Here at Barron Hill, we offer a lovely, spacious and private guest house that is only a few short steps from the girl's barn, hiking trails and a luxurious, in-ground pool. Our accommodations provide you with the opportunity to spend a nice stretch of uninterrupted time learning about our alpacas and also to rest and have fun! recognition and marketing your With every purchase of breeding quality alpacas, we offer a 12-page website for new breeders, designed by you and our webmaster to promote your farm and alpacas.
A list of recommended organizations and publications will be provided to our clients with related costs allowing you to plan for your marketing expenses. Professional photography services are available to help you create high-quality imagery for your website, show booth or farm store walls. We also offer creative services that include farm layout and design (barns, pastures, etc), logos and letterheads and booth design. Brokered Alpacas We are happy to provide brokering services for you. Brokered alpacas will be listed on our Alpacanation site. Brokered alpacas may reside at your farm or be agisted at ours; please contact us to discuss these options. Hands-on Education We offer hands-on training with your purchase and invite you to spend time at Barron Hill to learn about herd health---trimming toe nails, checking ears/eyes and administrating vaccinations, micro-chipping as well as the alpaca registering processes. Fiber classes and education. We offer felting classes here at the farm on a regular basis. Alpaca fiber is some of the finest in the world. Often, you can offset farm expenses by marketing your fiber and/ or selling designer pieces. A half-day class is time well-spent and you will go home with a finished piece and the skills to continue using your fiber in artful ways….and you'll have a lot of fun! Photography classes

services are thoughtfully designed to allow both the new or seasoned
breeder to benefit from our commitment to our clients and the alpaca
industry. We feel honored to be involved in the alpaca community
and blessed to have our lovely alpacas in our lives. Our commitment
to our clients is based on integrity, seven years of experience
raising alpacas, 35 collective years of business in the field of
photography / general contracting and a desire to provide stellar
service before, during and after your purchase. Before purchasing
alpacas, we encourage you to prepare a plan that will guide you
to achieve your goals and we are certainly happy to help you with
this. 
Barron Hill offers a space in
our show stall for your BHA show quality alpaca(s) to promote your
farm and get you acquainted with the world of competing and showing.
(Advance arrangements are necessary as well as some health requirements). 
Learn to present your farm
in a professional manner. This is a full-day class with lunch provided.
Learning to develop an eye and preserve a moment in time is a valuable
skill. Alpacas can be difficult to capture but with patience, skill
and a trained eye, it is extremely satisfying to create images
of your animals that are of high quality. Please check our website
